If you are planning a trip to San Antonio and are looking for a convenient neighborhood to base yourself in, check out Alamo Plaza. You will find Alamo Plaza 0.1 miles (0.2 kilometers) to the north of central San Antonio.

While San Antonio is celebrated for the iconic attraction, the Alamo, it also has a wide range of other excellent tourist spots, including the Six Flags Fiesta Texas and San Antonio Zoo and Aquarium.

Make sure you add the Rivercenter Mall to your list of plans while in Alamo Plaza, as it's one of San Antonio's more popular visitor attractions.

Alamo Plaza has a range of hotels and other accommodation options, but you and your friends might enjoy staying within the vicinity of both the Pearl Brewery and the Market Square. Make a choice from the Omni La Mansion del Rio and Hilton Palacio Del Rio to stay a short distance from the Pearl Brewery, or the Hotel Contessa - Luxury Suites on the Riverwalk and Embassy Suites San Antonio Riverwalk-Downtown to be closer to the Market Square.

Alamo Plaza has one or two inexpensive accommodations to choose from. The TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Downtown and Crockett Hotel are excellent choices.

Are you and your travel companions visiting San Antonio? If you can't find the perfect accommodations in Alamo Plaza, consider securing a room in one of the nearby areas, Downtown - Riverwalk and Windcrest.

Fantastic complimentary breakfast with foods prepped on site, nice wine bar, valet parking, with self outdoor parking next door. Parking garages nearby, too. The hotel building itself is historic. They have done a nice job of keeping building history, but the rooms were nicely upgraded, clean, comfortable beds, workout room, nice staff at checkin, conveniently located to many things. We really enjoyed our stay & will return. "
